Episode 12

*Colby stares into the horizon*

You know, it feel amazing being here on Day 38 and 39. I knew it was gonna be a hard task but I did it and winning 4 challenges in the process. This last challenge was really hard and one day later my feet and hands are still hurting a little bit. I knew I couldn't let any of them win because it wasn't a guarantee that either was taking me to the end. 

Only Cassandra has approached me telling me why I should take her to the finals and of course Shirin hasn't bothered at all   It's not really a hard decision since I knew who I wanted to take 2 days ago but I still have to weigh the options to make sure I don't leave Ethiopia as a loser.

Pros and Cons of taking Cassandra or Shirin to the finals:

Cassandra:

Yes, take her: - I don't think she made a lot of decisions during the game (merge) and spent a lot of time in the minority 

                    - her Rites of Passage came off a little bit artificial (too much ''I loved you in this game'')

No way!: - she overcame a lot in the game, last person standing from her old tribe

             - she's very nice and relatable

             - she knows how to talk and express her feelings

Shirin: 

Yes, take her: - she's the Joker of the game

       - she acted like she didn't care sometimes and even had a meltdown saying she wanted to leave because she knew she was next

       - I don't feel like she made a lot of moves

No way!: - most of the time she says funny/weird things and people might find that funny or vote for her as the cherry on the top of the cake




Looking at the list above it's pretty obvious who my wonderful company in the Final 2 will be

This is the hardest vote I have cast in the whole game even though I've voted for you before (weird, right?). You are a really big threat and I know you will win if you are in the finals. Hope to see you on the other side and... don't forget to vote for me

Hey again it's your decision and I respect that but everything I told you about why I think you have a better shot over me was very honest. Just the fact that her and Alina had been quietly making decisions for a long time shows a lot about her game

If you think you can beat her then by all means take her, but since I'll finally be able to talk to the jury again I am definitely going to talk to them to see what they think since they played with both of you for longer

Like I said in my TC answer, I think there might be more to her game than she has let on to, I feel like a lot of her spazziness is her acting to make her seem less threatening but hopefully they can confirm that for me.

I'm just sad because I really just wanted the chance

1. Give a general retrospect of your game without going into details (that confessional when you're eating the final breakfeast)

Day 39. Oh man. I feel soooo blessed to be here and so proud of myself (sorry, suckers  ). I bonded, was in alliances, fought, persevered, resisted and here I am. I knew I could it, I knew it was in me. There's still one battle ahead of me but I'm confident that I have enough ammunition to defeat Shirin and win the war. Sole Survivor, baby!

2. Talk about the upcoming tribal council : your expectations, your thoughts, your chances...

To be honest, I feel iffy. I said in the beginning that I had to work on my social game and of course that's the part that I kinda lacked in the game and I needed it. I know Alina is gonna be a bitter betty (suck it!) but I don't know about Morgan, Tina, Artis. I don't think Cassandra will be but you never know. If Shirin was to be a klutz on purpose then she got me. Hopefully, that's her in real life. I think I might have a 50/50 chance. 

3. Talk about the jury. What do you expect from them?

I'm expecting a little bit of bitterness, a little bit of ''You didn't talk to me'', a little bit of ''You did nothing''. But I'm sorry that your asses aren't sitting here and I am. I did have kind of an easy ride in the game with all the immunities won as part of Chencha and all but that's what worked for me and I fought and never gave up. 

4. Any other comment!
