The mood in Gorgora is just depressing. We all liked Wendy, and her being gone left a visible hole in our morale. If we don't get a win after all we've been through, it will be the toughest pill I've ever swallowed.

So we get to the reward challenge and I'm not feeling great. Even though this tribe has consistently put in one hundred percent effort, we always find a way to lose. Even as Bob and Tina are doing great like usual, I know in the back of my mind that we probably won't win. But then Tina brought back the reward crate! I was so happy that our tribe would finally get to bask in some minor glory with my tribe... Until I couldn't.
I think my jaw literally unhinged when we started opening our crates and finding new buffs inside. The swap was finally happening, but I didn't know how I felt. I'm so close to the three other people remaining in my tribe that being separated from them just isn't an appealing thought.

So everyone except Tina and Bob got dished out new buffs, and thankfully me and Cassandra landed back on Gorgora. We also got three new tribemates- Brendan, Ken and Morgan. I immediately thought of how awkward the next little while was going to be considering none of the older people particularly like Morgan. At all.

Of course, it wouldn't be Survivor if there wasn't a twist. It turns out that Tina had to select which tribe she wanted to be on, and Bob would wind up on the opposite one. It was between good ol' Gorgora and a Chencha tribe that only had it's original members on it. Tina chose Gorgora, and I don't blame her, I would have done that exact same thing. Unfortunately, it put Bob in a sea of green, and I have a sinking feeling that he's not going to make it to the merge...

I'm really excited about the new Gorgora! It's a little strange to start interacting with people that you only saw on the challenge field, but I am extremely thankful that those people happened to be one of the strongest competitors from the young tribe. Yes, Morgan may have been cocky, but she probably had a reason to be. I remember that the very first challenge that we did, the horrible hike we had to do across the crappy savanna, she was really on point. Hopefully this means that we will be able to win the next immunity challenge with ease!

The strategic situation on the new Gorgora tribe is a bit interesting, considering that we're split even with three "old" people, and three young people. Now, I don't know where Morgan, Ken and Brendan stand among themselves, but I know that we three original red are super tight. If, god forbid, we lose the next immunity, I think it might go down to a tie. I'm going to start working the new people and slowly start to see where they're head is game-wise, because I definitely want to survive till the merge and maybe have some new allies with me.

It felt really weird facing Bob, who was painted all in green, and then hitting him repeatedly. I mean, just the other day he was on my side! I knew he was a strong bugger, but he beat me down hard. I managed to get a couple licks in, but he ended up winning the round. It didn't matter though, because Gorgora won immunity! It was such an amazing feeling, seeing that weird-looking idol come into our hands. I look forward to having tomorrow off and not having to go to tribal council.
