Colby,
The night you won final immunity, I gave you a lot of reasons to why Shirin played a stronger game than you, many of which she included in her opening statement. However, you were so sure that she "sucked," and you played better. Please explain to me how you played better than Shirin. Specifically, I want to hear how socially you played better than her. Almost every one who I have talked to says that you rarely spoke to them, and when you did you were one-wordy and didn't talk much. If that's true, that doesn't seem like good social gameplay and leads me to believe that you would have been screwed had you not won immunity. So I don't want to hear about challenge strength in your answer, because that isn't important to me. For me, social gameplay is the most important and that's why I want to know specifically how you had a stronger social game than Shirin.
Thank you! Good luck.

I said that about Shirin because to me she seemed like she didn't care much. She wouldn't come online a lot and specifically to me, I would talk to her and she wouldn't reply or she would reply the day after which was really frustrating to me. Yes, she was funny but at the same time, I got a vibe from her that she was trying too hard just like the real Shirin.
The people that I didn't really talk that much in the Jury were Artis and Tina and I explained that part of it was because I didn't want to make unnecessary deals. While I agree that my social game could've been better, to some of you (especially you) I opened up about myself and what I like to do (hobbies, what I do, where I live, age, etc). I could've been private and not tell any of these things (since it was an alias game) but I still did. And vice-versa. I can tell you a little bit about most of you guys and I couldn't have known that without talking to people. If I hadn't talked to Erinn, Alina and Brendan and been in an alliance with them it would've been harder for me to get here. If I hadn't talked to you and befriended you and trusted you, you would've been out in 4th place. So yeah, my social game wasn't perfect and I wish I could've been better at it, but it still helped me to get to the finals.
Obrigado!

No I totally believe that Shirin!
And sorry, just didn't have your question ready yesterday but wanted to go ahead and post Colby's since I knew what I was asking him...
My question to you is, do you think you can explain a little more how much of your game was you playing up being a goat and not doing much, and how much of it was actually disengagement from the game? Because what Colby said about you not responding to messages or responding the next day is pretty accurate, however I do feel like you were doing more things behind the scenes than you let on to. Can you just go a little more in depth about what was strategy and what was just you not being around?
And thanks for the nice words in your opening statement btw!

hey b!
I will 100% admit that I was not around anywhere near as much as I should've been. I don't really have much of an excuse as far as my slow replies go, but I feel like I had the conversations I needed to have. you yourself said that you liked me a lot after minimal conversation. I hate to toot my own horn, but I'm pretty good at making good impressions quickly when I need to (notably with you and Alina). luck and numbers carried Colby and I the same distance (read: a long way), so differentiating our games with that aside may be understandably tough. I intentionally played up the goat factor to make up for what I saw as a lack of social interaction on my part (I'm usually a social powerhouse lol), because I wasn't 100% sure how socially active everyone else was compared to me. maintaining relationships with only a few key people and passing myself off as goaty is probably a pretty shady way to navigate through the game, I know, but it certainly worked out in the end (well, as far as getting me here goes). I was a pretty strong competitor in both tribal and individual challenges, I was active in camp life and I was a huge part of the two biggest post merge votes. My biggest thing was probably convincing Alina to vote for Erinn at 5 instead of you. I don't know what your intention with your vote was if I hadn't told you I was going to go after Erinn, but I assume Alina or I would have been idoled out. I was able to keep both you and Alina (my favourite people in the game and the two people I considered allies) as well as myself alive that round. I did what I needed to do to get here. I don't believe I just floated, even if I was a little absent sometimes.
